The Indian mobile gaming community has another major event to look forward to. Today, iQOO, the high-performance smartphone brand, officially announced the iQOO Pro Series Season 3. Set to be a nationwide esports tournament, this event focuses entirely on the Free Fire MAX community in India.

With a massive ₹10 Lakh prize pool on the line, the tournament is designed to provide a competitive platform for emerging grassroots players while further strengthening the country’s rapidly growing mobile esports ecosystem. The event will run from March 14 to March 19, 2026, and is expected to bring together over 3,000 teams from across the nation.

A Two-Stage Competitive Format

The iQOO Pro Series Season 3 features a highly competitive two-stage format designed to identify and elevate the best emerging talent in the Free Fire MAX community.

The action kicks off with the Community Cup, where the 3,000+ registered teams will clash across six intense rounds of qualifiers. The stakes in the Community Cup are high, as only the top two teams will earn the right to advance directly to the Pro Series stage.

Once in the Pro Series, these grassroots champions will face their ultimate test. They will be placed alongside directly invited professional teams, creating a unique platform where rising stars can compete directly against established esports organizations.

The tournament schedule is packed with high-stakes matches:

  • The Playoffs will take place from March 14 to March 16.
  • The Grand Finals will follow immediately, running from March 17 to March 19.
  • During the Grand Finals, the top teams will battle for the ultimate championship title and their share of the ₹10 lakh prize pool.

Community Cup Rewards

For the teams battling through the grassroots qualifiers, the rewards go beyond just a spot in the Pro Series. The top-performing squads in the Community Cup will also take home brand new high-performance devices from iQOO.

The Community Cup rewards are structured as follows:

  • 1st Position: 4 × iQOO Z10 devices
  • 2nd Position: 4 × iQOO Z10R devices
  • 3rd Position: 4 × iQOO Z11x devices

The Continued Rise of Free Fire MAX in India

India has firmly established itself as one of the fastest-growing mobile gaming markets globally, propelled by the availability of affordable smartphones and enhanced internet connectivity. At the forefront of this surge is Free Fire MAX, a battle royale title that continues to command massive engagement from both players and content creators.

Globally, the game has surpassed 500 million downloads on the Google Play Store and maintains an incredible 85 million active monthly players, with the Indian player base making up a significant portion of those numbers.

The return of competitive tournaments has only accelerated this engagement. With flagship events like the Free Fire India Championship and the Free Fire MAX India Cup laying the groundwork, the competitive ecosystem is stronger than ever. This growth is further reflected by leading esports organizations, such as S8UL, continuously investing in the local scene.

Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO, emphasized the brand’s commitment to this passionate community. “At iQOO, performance sits at the core of everything we build,” Marya stated. “Our smartphones are engineered to deliver powerful and reliable performance, enabling smooth and immersive experiences across demanding use cases, including high-intensity games such as Free Fire MAX.”

Marya added, “With iQOO Pro Series Season 3 for the Free Fire MAX community, we aim to create a competitive platform that empowers grassroots players from across India to showcase their skills and compete at a larger stage. As the mobile esports ecosystem continues to evolve, initiatives like these allow us to support emerging talent while contributing to the growth of India’s gaming community.”
